In the early 2000s, Hanrio was initially established as a hardware-selling division of iRipple, Inc. – a retail solution company. Hanrio then became a trusted IBM Reseller through strategic partnerships with the leading hardware suppliers such as WSI and Continuum Inc. 

Beyond selling IBM POS, Hanrio provided a comprehensive package of peripherals for retail stores, including cash drawers, handheld scanners, and POS printers, as well as customized servers tailored to the unique needs of retail clients.

Hanrio established a strong partnership with HP in 2012. This was made possible through an authorized HP distributor MSI-ECS Phils., Inc. The partnership has continued to thrive up to this day.

In 2017, Hanrio officially became an independent company adopting the name “Hanrio, Inc.” as its official company name under the iRipple Group of Companies. Despite the transition, Hanrio has remained a trusted provider of hardware solutions for all clients – iRipple and non-iRipple clients. 

At present, the company has diversified its offerings beyond retail-related hardware products to include a range of other electronics such as audio systems, laptops, tablets, and more. Hanrio remains committed to delivering time-tested quality and excellence in hardware expertise to its clients, ensuring their satisfaction and business success.
